NYSC Announces Date for 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, 5th August 2026, across all NYSC Orientation Camps in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to a press statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the three-week orientation exercise will run from Wednesday, 5th August to Tuesday, 25th August 2026.

The scheme also disclosed that Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be released in due course.

The Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective Corps Members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Service Year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, making them eligible for national service.

He further wished all prospective Corps Members a safe journey to their respective Orientation Camps and advised them to avoid travelling at night. He also urged them to strictly observe all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey.

Prospective Corps Members are encouraged to regularly check their NYSC dashboards for updates regarding the release of their Call-up Letters and other important information ahead of the orientation exercise.

Orientation Course Schedule

– Commencement: Wednesday, 5th August 2026

– Closing Date: Tuesday, 25th August 2026

All prospective Corps Members are advised to make adequate preparations and ensure they report to their assigned Orientation Camps as scheduled.
