FEDERAL GOVERNMENT RELEASES FEDERAL UNITY COLLEGES (FUCs) ADMISSION LIST FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the release of the 2026/2027 admission list for successful candidates offered admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) of the Federal Unity Colleges (FUCs) across the country.

The release provides an opportunity for successful candidates to proceed with the next stage of their admission process into their assigned Federal Unity Colleges.

MINISTER APPROVES RELEASE OF ADMISSION LIST

The release of the admission list was approved by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON.

According to the Minister, the development reaffirms the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, accessible and orderly admission process for candidates seeking placement in Federal Unity Colleges nationwide.

The Ministry encouraged parents, guardians and prospective students to follow the approved admission procedures and rely on official channels when checking admission information.

HOW TO CHECK FEDERAL UNITY COLLEGES ADMISSION STATUS

Parents and guardians can check the admission status of their children and wards through the Federal Ministry of Education’s admission portal.

Admission information may also be checked on the notice board of the relevant Federal Unity College.

Candidates and their parents are advised to verify the admission status promptly and ensure that they follow all instructions provided for successful candidates.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES TO PRINT ADMISSION SLIPS

Candidates who have been offered admission are required to print their admission slips after confirming their admission status.

Successful candidates are then expected to proceed to the Federal Unity College indicated on their admission slip for confirmation and completion of the admission process.

The admission slip is an important document and candidates are advised to keep it safely and present it when required during the admission process.

FME POSTING PORTAL

Candidates and parents can access their admission status and admission slips through the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) Posting Portal.

Parents and guardians are advised to check the portal and complete the necessary admission procedures without unnecessary delay.

PARENTS ADVISED TO ENSURE PROMPT ACTION

The Federal Ministry of Education urged parents and guardians to ensure that successful candidates report to their respective colleges as required.

Parents are encouraged to carefully follow the admission instructions and ensure that their children and wards do not miss any required stage of the admission process.

Candidates should also remain committed to their studies and prepare adequately for their new academic environment.

MINISTER CONGRATULATES SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

The Minister of Education congratulated all successful candidates on their admission into the Federal Unity Colleges.
