GATEWAY ICT POLYTECHNIC, SAAPADE ANNOUNCES ND SCREENING EXERCISE DATES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of The Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Saapade, through its Admission Unit, has officially announced the schedule and logistical guidelines for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session National Diploma (ND) admission screening exercise.
According to an internal memorandum with reference number GPS/AU/VOL.II/084, signed by the Head of the Admission Unit, Mrs. Ojerinde S. O., on behalf of the Registrar, the institution is finalizing preparations to welcome prospective students to the campus for their mandatory evaluation.
Official Screening Dates and Venue
The screening exercise has been scheduled to take place over a two-day period:
Thursday, 27th August, 2026
Friday, 28th August, 2026
Time: 7:00 AM Prompt (Daily)
Venue: Onafowokan Auditorium, Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade Main Campus.
Candidates are strongly advised to arrive early at the venue, as the institution maintains a strict policy regarding punctuality, and late entries into the auditorium will not be tolerated.
Crucial Guidelines for Prospective Candidates
To ensure a hitch-free and organized screening process, the Polytechnic management has put forward explicit conditions that all applicants must fulfill:
Strict Invitation Policy: The screening will be strictly batch-based. Management emphasizes that only candidates who have been formally invited for a specific day will be attended to on that day. Applicants are warned against appearing at the venue outside their designated date, as they will be turned back.
Mandatory Documentation: All invited candidates are under strict obligation to come along with a physical, printed copy of their Bio-Data Form. This document will serve as a primary pass for verification at the entrance of the Onafowokan Auditorium. Failure to present this form will lead to immediate disqualification from the day’s exercise.
Important Notice to the Polytechnic Community
The Admission Unit has circulated this directive to all students, relevant academic administrative staff, and the Acting Heads of Departments (Ag. HODs) to ensure full institutional compliance and cooperation. Current students are advised to note these dates, as human and vehicular traffic within the campus and around the Onafowokan Auditorium is expected to increase significantly during the two-day period.
Prospective students are urged to monitor their application portals and registered contact channels for their specific invitation dates and further updates regarding the screening process.
