FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, BAUCHI (UNIMAID AFFILIATED) RELEASES DEGREE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) has announced the commencement of applications for admission into its University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID)-affiliated Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Suitably qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for admission into the available undergraduate programmes offered under the affiliation arrangement.

Available Degree Programmes

Applications are currently open for admission into the following programmes:

• B.Sc. Accounting
• B.Sc. Banking and Finance
• B.Sc. Public Administration
• B.Sc. Mass Communication
• B.Sc. Business Administration and Management

These programmes are fully affiliated with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) and are hosted by the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.

Admission Requirements

UTME Candidates

Candidates seeking admission through the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must satisfy the following requirements:

• Meet the approved UTME cut-off mark for their preferred programme.
• Select Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (Affiliated to the University of Maiduguri) as their first-choice institution and course through JAMB.
• Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.

Direct Entry Candidates

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess:

• At least a Lower Credit in a relevant National Diploma (ND) programme, or
• A good IJMB result obtained from Federal Polytechnic Bauchi or any other recognized institution.

Applicants are advised to ensure they satisfy all programme-specific admission requirements before submitting their applications.
