UNIVERSITY OF ILESA (UNILESA) RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM INTO NEWLY APPROVED PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Ilesa (UNILESA), Osun State, has announced the commencement of admission into its newly approved academic programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The new programmes expand the University’s academic offerings across engineering, computing, health sciences, security studies, economics and other specialised fields.

NEWLY APPROVED PROGRAMMES

The newly introduced programmes available to eligible candidates include:

• B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence
• B.Eng. Computer Engineering
• B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering
• B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering
• B.Eng. Civil Engineering
• B.Eng. Chemical Engineering
• B.Eng. Mining Engineering
• B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• B.Sc. Nuclear Science
• B.Sc. Intelligence and Security Studies
• B.Sc. Islamic Economics and Finance
• B.Sc. Cooperative Economics and Management
• B.CHS. Community Health Science

The introduction of these programmes provides prospective students with additional options as they seek admission into the university for the new academic session.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 160 are eligible to apply, provided they also satisfy the other admission requirements for their chosen programmes.

Candidates are advised to carefully confirm the specific requirements for their preferred course before completing the application.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNILESA ADMISSION

Interested candidates are required to complete the following steps:

1. Change Institution

Candidates who did not originally select the University of Ilesa (UNILESA) as their first-choice institution should effect a change of institution through the JAMB platform.

2. Register for Post-UTME

After changing their institution, candidates should proceed to the University’s Post-UTME portal to complete their screening registration.

Candidates are advised to provide accurate information during registration and ensure that all required details are correctly submitted.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The registration exercise for the newly approved programmes will close on:

30th September 2026
