KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY (KWASU) RELEASES ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has commenced the release of the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission list on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). (Kwara State University)

Candidates who participated in the University’s admission screening exercise are advised to check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal to know whether they have been offered provisional admission into their chosen programmes.

The admission exercise is expected to be released in batches. Therefore, candidates whose admission status has not yet been updated are encouraged to continue checking the portal regularly, as additional admission offers may be uploaded. (Kwara State University)

How to Check Your Admission Status

Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
2. Log in with your registered email address and password.
3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access My CAPS.”
5. Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission offer.

Candidates offered admission should click “Accept” to confirm the offer or “Reject” if they do not wish to accept it.

What Admitted Candidates Should Do Next

Successful candidates are advised to:

• Accept their admission on JAMB CAPS.
• Print their JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the offer.
• Print their Original JAMB Result Slip.
• Regularly monitor the KWASU admission portal for updates on acceptance fees, clearance procedures, registration, and other admission requirements.
• Ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal, as this is a mandatory requirement for completing the admission process.

Candidates whose status still shows “Admission in Progress” or “Not Admitted” should remain patient, as the University may continue to upload more admission lists throughout the admission exercise.
