The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria, has released the Faculty of Administration cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

The approved figures cover five departments in the Faculty of Administration and provide separate cut-off marks for candidates under the Merit, Catchment Area, and Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS) categories.

Accounting Has the Highest Cut-Off Mark

Among the programmes listed, Accounting has the highest Merit cut-off mark at 79.52.

The department also has relatively high Catchment Area cut-off marks, with 77.10 for Osun, 75.90 for Oyo, 72.00 for Ekiti, 72.00 for Ondo, 70.82 for Lagos, and 71.00 for Ogun.

For candidates under the ELDS category, the published cut-off mark for Accounting is 69.70.

This makes Accounting the most competitive programme among the five departments based on the released Merit cut-off figures.

Business Administration Cut-Off Mark

The OAU Business Administration Merit cut-off mark is 62.40 for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

The Catchment Area figures are:

  • Oyo – 54.825
  • Ekiti – 50.00
  • Ondo – 52.00
  • Lagos – 53.00
  • Ogun – 57.025

The ELDS cut-off mark for Business Administration is 54.00.

International Relations Cut-Off Mark

Candidates seeking admission into International Relations have a Merit cut-off mark of 52.65.

The published cut-off mark for candidates from all the listed Catchment Areas—Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos and Ogun—is 50.00.

The ELDS cut-off mark is also 50.00.

Local Government & Development Studies

For Local Government & Development Studies, the Merit cut-off mark is 52.375.

The cut-off mark for Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos and Ogun candidates is 50.00, while the ELDS figure is also 50.00.

Public Administration Cut-Off Mark

The Public Administration Merit cut-off mark is 55.05.

Candidates from the listed Catchment Areas have a cut-off mark of 50.00, while the ELDS cut-off mark is also 50.00.
