FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, AZARE (FUHSA) ISSUES CONVOCATION GUIDELINES FOR HUMAN NUTRITION AND DIETETICS GRADUATES
The Management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), through the Academic Affairs Unit in the Office of the Registrar, has issued an official circular regarding preparations for the upcoming Convocation Ceremony.
The circular, reference number FUHSA/ACD/CIR/35/VOL. I, dated 7th October, 2026, provides detailed guidelines for graduating students from the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics concerning convocation gown collection, certificate fee payments, and alumni registration.
Schedule of Convocation Activities
According to the official circular, the convocation activities for graduating students of the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics are scheduled to hold across a six-day period:
* Commencement Date: Monday, 11th October 2026
* Closing Date: Saturday, 17th October 2026
Graduating students are advised to align their preparations with these dates to ensure full participation in all ceremonial activities.
Collection of Academic Gowns and Alumni Registration
To ensure a seamless convocation process, all graduating students are instructed to report directly to the University’s Academic Affairs Unit to collect their academic gowns.
Additionally, students are required to complete their mandatory registration with the University Alumni Association. This registration process is to be carried out directly through the designated Alumni Desk Officer on campus.
Fee Breakdown and Payment Instructions
The university administration has specified the mandatory fee requirements that must be cleared by each graduating student prior to gown collection and participation. The detailed fee structure includes:
* Certificate Fee: ₦10,000.00
* Alumni Registration Fee: ₦10,000.00
* Total Payable Amount: ₦20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira Only)
All concerned students are urged to complete these financial obligations promptly and retrieve their academic gowns without delay to facilitate adequate preparation for the Convocation Ceremony. The notice was officially signed by Nasiru Aliyu Mohammed on behalf of the Academic Secretary.
