FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, MINNA (FUTMINNA) RELEASES ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially released the provisional admission list of successful candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session.
This update applies to all prospective students who participated in the institution’s 2026/2027 admission screening exercise.
How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
The list of shortlisted candidates has been uploaded online via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates are required to check their admission status by following these steps:
* Portal Access: Visit the official portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in using your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
* Navigation: Click on the “Check Admission Status” tab.
* Access CAPS: Click on “Access my CAPS” to enter the main processing system.
* View Status: Select “Admission Status” to determine if an offer has been extended.
Candidates who have been granted admission will see a confirmation page displaying their photo image alongside a congratulations message. Those who have not yet been offered admission will see the notification “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet.”
For candidates accessing the portal via mobile devices, the option to check admission status may not appear automatically due to screen layout constraints. Mobile users are strongly advised to use the Google Chrome browser, open the browser options menu, and enable “Request Desktop Site” to render the complete page view properly.
Instructions on Accepting or Rejecting Admission Offers
Candidates who receive an admission offer must formally accept or reject it within the stipulated timeframes and guidelines established by JAMB:
* Acceptance Timeline: Candidates are granted a maximum window of four (4) weeks from the date of release to accept or reject the admission offer.
* SMS Method: Candidates with access to the phone number linked to their JAMB profile can respond directly by sending “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” as an SMS to 55019 or 66019.
* CBT Centre Option: Candidates who no longer have access to their registered phone numbers must physically visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to complete the acceptance or rejection procedure.
Post-Acceptance Clearance and Registration Guidelines
