LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, OTO/IJANIKIN [LASUED] RELEASES UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Oto/Ijanikin with a campus at Odo-Noforija, Epe, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise.
According to the university management, online registration for admission screening will begin from Sunday, June 1, 2026, and close on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Candidates interested in gaining admission into LASUED are advised to complete their registration online and upload all required credentials through the university portal.

Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) is located along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Oto/Ijanikin, Lagos State, with an additional campus at Odo-Noforija, Epe. The institution offers several undergraduate programmes across education, sciences, arts, management, social sciences and vocational studies.
The university invites suitably qualified candidates seeking admission through UTME and Direct Entry into its various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
LASUED Post-UTME 2026/2027 Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the LASUED admission screening exercise, candidates must meet the following conditions:
For UTME Candidates
Applicants must:
- Choose LASUED as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME
- Score a minimum of 185 in the 2026 UTME
- Possess the required O’Level subjects as stated in the JAMB brochure
- Be 16 years old or above by October 1, 2026
- Upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before July 17, 2026
For Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants are also eligible if they:
- Chose LASUED as First Choice during the 2026 Direct Entry registration
- Possess acceptable qualifications such as NCE, ND or Diploma
- Participate in the online screening exercise
- Submit copies of their screening report and academic credentials to the LASUED Admission Office for processing
O’Level Requirements for LASUED Admission
Candidates applying for admission into LASUED must possess:
- Five (5) relevant credit passes
- Credits must include English Language and Mathematics
- Results can be from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or GCE
- O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings

Candidates are required to complete their registration online by visiting the university admission portal.
Follow these steps:
- Visit the LASUED website
- Complete the online registration form
- Upload all required documents and credentials
- Make payment using the approved payment platform on the university portal
- Submit and print your screening acknowledgment slip
Applicants are advised to ensure all details supplied are accurate.
Important Notice to Candidates
LASUED management has warned candidates against making payment to individuals or unofficial accounts.
Any candidate who pays money outside the approved university portal does so at his or her own risk.
Candidates are therefore encouraged to use only the official university platform for registration and payment.
