The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) has officially released its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission Screening Form for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution.

According to the notice issued by the University, online registration for the screening exercise will commence on Monday, 20th July 2026 and close on Thursday, 20th August 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:

• Choose FUHSO as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
• Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
• Meet the minimum UTME score required for their chosen programme.

• MBBS (Medicine & Surgery) – 250
• Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) – 230
• B.NSc. Nursing Science – 230
• Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) – 200
• Public Health & Epidemiology – 190
• Human Anatomy – 170
• Human Physiology – 170
• Computer Science – 170
• Microbiology – 170
• Biochemistry – 160
• Biostatistics – 160
• Mathematics – 160
• Biological Science – 160
• Chemistry – 160
• Medical Physics – 160

Candidates who did not initially select FUHSO as their first-choice institution but wish to apply are required to process a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal before completing their application.

Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry applicants must possess a First Degree, HND, ND, NCE, or A’Level qualification in relevant disciplines with at least a Lower Credit or its equivalent.

However, Direct Entry admission is not available for MBBS, Pharm.D, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health & Epidemiology for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates should visit the university’s admission portal  and click on the 2026/2027 Post-UTME/DE Screening link.
• Applicants are required to complete the online registration and pay a screening fee of ₦2,000 through the portal.

Important Information

• Candidates who fail to register for the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.
• Applicants must upload their O’Level or A’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal.
• Admitted candidates are advised to monitor their JAMB CAPS and accept their admission promptly to avoid cancellation.
• Applicants seeking admission into the B.Sc. Mathematics programme may be eligible for a scholarship upon admission.
