LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY, OJO [LASU] RELEASES SANDWICH DEGREE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has commenced applications for admission into its 2026 Sandwich Degree Programmes. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into various education-related degree programmes offered through the Sandwich mode.

The programmes are available under the Faculty of Education and lead to the award of either a four (4)-year or five (5)-year degree, depending on the applicant’s qualifications.

Applications are open for the following Sandwich Degree programmes:

• B.Sc. Ed., B.A. Ed. and B.Ed. (Four/Five-Year Programmes) in:

  • Physical & Health Education

  • French Education

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Five (5) O’Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course in not more than two sittings.
• Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for all programmes.
• Candidates with relevant NCE, ND or Diploma qualifications may also apply, subject to the programme requirements.

Some programmes have additional subject-specific requirements as stated in the admission advertisement.

Duration of Programmes

• Four-Year Degree Programme: For candidates with relevant NCE or ND qualifications at Merit or Lower Credit and above.
• Five-Year Degree Programme: For candidates with WASC, SSCE, NABTEB or equivalent qualifications who do not meet the entry requirements for the four-year programme.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates should obtain the application form online via the LASU website after payment of the prescribed application fee of ₦10,000. Completed application forms, together with the required credentials, should be submitted to the Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme.

Important Notice

LASU has warned applicants not to pay money into any personal account or through any unauthorised channel. Payments should only be made through the University’s designated payment platform.

Application Deadline

The sale and submission of application forms will close ten (10) weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Entrance Examination

The entrance examination and interview are scheduled to hold as follows:

• Date: Saturday, 12th September, 2026
• Time: 9:00 a.m.
• Venue: 5-in-1 Lecture Theatre (Hall 1 and 2), Lagos State University, Ojo.

Candidates are advised to come along with their writing materials and the originals and photocopies of all relevant credentials.
