IMO STATE UNIVERSITY (IMSU) RELEASES SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, has announced the commencement of the 2026/2027 Supplementary Admission Exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate programmes of the University.
Eligible candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the University’s Post-UTME screening exercise are invited to apply for the supplementary admission before the closing date.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for the IMSU 2026/2027 supplementary admission exercise, candidates must:
- Score 160 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Have participated in the IMSU 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
- Have selected Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri as their first-choice institution, or have successfully completed a Change of Institution to IMSU through JAMB.
Important Notice: Candidates who did not choose IMSU as their first-choice institution and have not changed to IMSU are not eligible for the supplementary admission exercise.
Application Period
The sale of supplementary admission application forms will commence on:
Monday, 24th August, 2026
and closes on:
Monday, 21st September, 2026.
Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.

How to Apply
Candidates should follow the steps below to complete their application:
- Visit the official IMSU portal at https://imsuonline.edu.ng.
- Click on “2026/2027 Supplementary Application.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to confirm your eligibility.
- If eligible, proceed to generate your payment invoice.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 only at IMSU Microfinance Bank using your JAMB Registration Number as the Invoice Number.
- Wait for 24 hours after payment.
- Return to the application portal, enter your JAMB Registration Number and complete the online application form.
Important Notice
Applicants are advised to ensure that all information supplied during registration is accurate and consistent with their JAMB records.
Candidates should also ensure they complete the application within the stipulated period, as applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
