AL-ISTIQAMA UNIVERSITY, SUMAILA (AUSU) RELEASES FIRST BATCH ADMISSION LIST, EXTENDS ADMISSION APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), has officially released the First Batch Admission List for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, bringing good news to candidates who applied for admission into the institution.
The university management announced that successful applicants have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes and are expected to complete the necessary admission procedures within the stipulated period.
First Batch Admission List Released
Candidates who participated in the admission exercise can now check if they have been offered admission by viewing the university’s First Batch Admission List.

Candidates whose names appear on the list have been offered provisional admission into the programmes indicated against their names.
Admitted Candidates Should Accept Their Admission
The university has directed all successful candidates to immediately visit the official admission portal to complete their admission process.
Candidates are required to:
- Visit www.ausumaila.edu.ng or ausu.admissions.cloud.
- Log in to their individual admission dashboard.
- Accept the admission offer.
- Print the evidence of admission acceptance for future reference.
Candidates are advised to complete these steps promptly to avoid any delay in processing their admission.
University Extends Online Admission Application
In addition to releasing the first batch admission list, Al-Istiqama University has also announced an extension of the online admission application for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The management disclosed that the application portal will now remain open until:
Friday, 4th September, 2026
The extension gives more qualified candidates another opportunity to apply for admission into the university.
Change of Institution Still Ongoing
Candidates who did not initially choose Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila as their first-choice institution but wish to study at the university are advised to:
- Visit any accredited JAMB CBT Centre and process a Change of Institution to Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila.
- Complete the university’s online admission application before the new deadline.
Prospective applicants are encouraged not to wait until the closing date before completing their registration.
Physical Screening Details
The university also informed admitted candidates that details of the physical screening exercise will be communicated in due course.
Candidates are therefore advised to regularly monitor the university’s official communication channels for updates regarding the screening exercise and other admission activities.
