FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, IKOT-ABASI (FUTIA) RELEASES ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA) has officially released the admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the University’s 2026/2027 admission screening exercise that they can now check whether they have been offered provisional admission into their chosen undergraduate programmes.

According to the University, the admission list has been uploaded on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) for successful candidates.

How to Check FUTIA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Candidates can check their admission status by following the steps below:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Log in using your registered email address and password.
3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access My CAPS.”
5. Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission status.

Candidates who have been offered admission will see a congratulatory message alongside their passport photograph confirming the admission offer.

Candidates who have not yet been admitted will receive a message stating “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”

Accept or Reject Admission

Candidates who have been offered admission are advised to either accept or reject the admission offer on the JAMB CAPS portal.

They are also required to confirm their decision by sending either:

• ACCEPT, or
• REJECT

as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

Candidates Yet to Be Admitted

Candidates whose admission status has not yet been updated are encouraged to remain patient and continue checking the JAMB CAPS portal regularly, as admission uploads are usually carried out in batches.

Important Notice

Admitted candidates should ensure they complete all necessary admission formalities, including accepting the admission on JAMB CAPS, printing their JAMB Admission Letter when available, and monitoring the University’s official communication channels for further instructions regarding clearance, registration, and resumption.
