IRRUA SPECIALIST TEACHING HOSPITAL COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES RELEASES ND NURSING ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of the College of Nursing Sciences, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH), Irrua, Edo State, has officially announced the commencement of application forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) in Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

​According to an official publication released by the institution’s Registrar, Mrs. Omoye Hilda Ovienria, interested candidates who meet the specified eligibility criteria are invited to apply before the closing deadline in September.

​Admission Requirements

​Prospective applicants must satisfy the following academic and age requirements to be considered for admission:

​O’Level Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These credits must be obtained from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings.

​NABTEB Restriction: The institution notes that NABTEB results can only be combined with another NABTEB result.

​JAMB Score: Applicants must have sat for the most recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB) and scored a minimum of 150 points.

​Age Limit: Applicants must be 17 years old and above.

​Method of Application & Fees

​The management emphasizes that there will be no physical sales of forms. The entire registration process must be completed online.

​Application Fee: Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (N25,000) only.

​Official Portal: Forms must be purchased exclusively through the institution’s website at https://cnsisthirrua.edu.ng/.

​Sales Period: The application portal opened on May 25th, 2026, and will officially close on September 18th, 2026.

​Screening Examinations and Interview Schedule

​Eligible applicants will be required to undergo both a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and an oral interview scheduled as follows:

​Post-UTME Screening Exam (CBT): Monday, September 21st, 2026

​Venue: Mount Carmel Secondary School, Emaudo, Ekpoma.

​Oral Interview: Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026

​Venue: Hospital Conference Hall, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital.
