MERCY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY RELEASES ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Mercy Medical University has released its approved academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining important dates and activities for both the Harmattan and Rain Semesters.
The calendar covers resumption dates, commencement of lectures, orientation, Continuous Assessment Tests (CAT), semester examinations, matriculation and other major academic activities.
Students are advised to take note of the scheduled dates and make adequate preparations for the academic session.
HARMATTAN SEMESTER
The 2026/2027 Harmattan Semester will begin with the resumption of fresh students in September 2026.
The major activities and dates are as follows:

| Monday, January 4 – Friday, January 15, 2027 | Harmattan Semester Examinations for 200 Level and Above |
| Friday, January 15, 2027 | End of Harmattan Semester |
Fresh students are expected to resume ahead of the commencement of lectures, while returning students will resume later in September.
The university will also conduct orientation for new students on September 23, 2026, to help them familiarise themselves with the institution and its academic environment.
RAIN SEMESTER
Following the completion of the Harmattan Semester, students will resume for the Rain Semester in February 2027.
