COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF UYO TEACHING HOSPITAL RELEASES ND/HND NURSING ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has announced admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission exercise is open to suitably qualified candidates who meet the stipulated UTME, age and O’Level requirements.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Interested candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:

1. Candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. Candidates must have selected the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital as their first choice in JAMB.
3. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 30th November 2026.
4. Candidates who have completed a change of institution through the JAMB portal to the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, are also eligible to apply.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess credit passes in the following five subjects:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

The required subjects must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, GCE, SSCE or NECO.

APPLICATION FEE

Interested candidates are required to obtain the Post-UTME application form upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000.

Payment is to be made to the Bursary, College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION

Candidates are expected to come with the following documents for the registration process:

• Three coloured passport photographs
• Photocopies of relevant credentials
• Printout of the 2026 JAMB score

Applicants are advised to ensure that their documents are properly arranged before proceeding with registration.

APPLICATION PERIOD

Collection of the application form will commence on Monday, 5th October 2026.

The application period will close on Thursday, 22nd October 2026.

Candidates interested in the programme are advised to complete the application process before the closing date.

POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

The Post-UTME screening examination has been scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: Saturday, 24th October 2026
Venue: College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital Auditorium
Time: 9:00 a.m.

Candidates attending the screening examination are required to come with:

1. Evidence of payment of the ₦30,000 application fee
2. Registration slip
3. JAMB printout

Candidates should ensure they arrive with the required documents for verification and screening.
