LABE COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, GBOKO RELEASES ND/HND NURSING SCIENCES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Labe College of Nursing Sciences, Gboko, Benue State, has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Science programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. The institution, accredited by both the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), has officially outlined the requirements and guidelines for prospective applicants.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following academic and age criteria:

* O’Level Qualifications: Candidates must possess five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, SSCE/GCE, or NABTEB in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings. Candidates presenting NABTEB results must not combine them with any other exam body results. All presented results must be current.

* UTME Cut-Off Mark: A minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME is required as the benchmark.

* Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of January 2026 and not more than 25 years old within the year 2026.

* Choice of Institution: Candidates must have chosen Labe College of Nursing Sciences Gboko as their first choice or effected a change of institution to the college via the JAMB portal.

MODE OF APPLICATION AND SCREENING

Prospective candidates are required to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of N15,000 into the school’s account:

After making the bank payment, candidates are to proceed directly to the school premises with their bank teller to obtain their official receipt and application form.

The Post-UTME Aptitude Test is scheduled to take place on 22nd October 2026. The screening fee is N5,000, payable to the same official bank account provided above. Candidates attending the aptitude test are required to bring along their writing materials.
