HILLSIDE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, OKEMESI-EKITI SECURES ACCREDITATION FOR NURSING SCIENCES PROGRAMME

The Tristate College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Hillside University of Science and Technology (HUST), Okemesi-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has officially secured dual accreditation for its Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc.) degree programme.

The Nursing Science programme has received rigorous evaluation and endorsement from both the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). This joint accreditation validates the university’s academic framework, modern laboratory infrastructure, faculty qualifications, and clinical training resources, confirming that the institution meets all statutory requirements for training world-class healthcare professionals.

Following the successful accreditation milestone, the university management has formally opened the application portal for prospective candidates seeking admission into the Nursing Science programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. The admission exercise is open to both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates and Direct Entry applicants who meet the prescribed entry requirements.

Prospective students who wish to pursue their nursing education at the institution are advised to commence their application process immediately by visiting the official admissions portal at admissions.hust.edu.ng. Candidates who did not initially select Hillside University of Science and Technology as their first choice during the UTME registration are permitted to apply, provided they effect a change of institution to HUST on the JAMB portal.
