KANO STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES RELEASES ND/HND ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Kano State College of Nursing Sciences officially announces the commencement of sales for its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session.

​The application window opens on 25th May 2026 and will remain active until 25th June 2026. Qualified candidates are encouraged to complete their registrations within this designated timeframe across the college’s major campuses: Kano, Madobi, Danbatta, and Gwarzo.

​Requirements for ND Nursing Programme

​Prospective applicants must satisfy both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and O’Level institutional benchmarks to qualify for the screening exercise:

​1. JAMB Cut-Off Marks & Institutional Choice

​Kano Campus: A minimum score of 160 and above in the just concluded UTME.

​Madobi, Danbatta & Gwarzo Campuses: A minimum score of 150 and above in the just concluded UTME.

​Institution Preference: Candidates must have chosen Kano State College of Nursing Sciences as their First Choice Institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

​2. O’Level Academic Qualifications

​WASSCE / NECO: Possession of at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

​Sitting Limits: These core credits must be obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

​NABTEB Option: Candidates applying with NABTEB results must obtain all five (5) mandatory credits in one (1) sitting.

​Screening Examination Dates

​The computer-based screening examinations for registered candidates are scheduled by campus location as follows:

​Kano Campus: Saturday, 4th July, 2026

​Madobi Campus: Sunday, 5th July, 2026

​Danbatta Campus: Monday, 6th July, 2026

​Gwarzo Campus: Tuesday, 7th July, 2026

​The application fee for the Post-UTME screening is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only. Eligible candidates should follow the structured guidelines below to register:
