FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LAFIA (FULAFIA) EXTENDS POST-UTME APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has announced an extension of the 2026/2027 Post-UTME online registration and screening exercise, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their applications.

According to the university, the registration exercise, which was initially scheduled to close on Sunday, August 30, 2026, has now been extended by three weeks. The new deadline for the completion of the online registration and screening exercise is Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Reason for the Extension

The university explained that the decision to extend the registration period was made to accommodate candidates who have been affected by recent developments in the admission process.

The extension is specifically intended to benefit:

• Candidates awaiting the release of their 2026 NECO examination results.
• Candidates whose IJMB results were recently released.
• Candidates who are still processing their JAMB Institutional Transfer, with the transfer deadline scheduled for September 7, 2026.

The management noted that the extension will ensure that all eligible candidates have sufficient time to complete the necessary admission requirements before the screening portal closes.

Important Notice to Candidates

Prospective candidates who are yet to complete their Post-UTME registration and screening are strongly advised to take advantage of the extended registration window.

Applicants are encouraged to ensure that all required information and supporting documents are correctly uploaded and submitted before the new closing date to avoid missing the opportunity to participate in the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

Candidates who are still awaiting examination results or processing institutional transfers should also use the additional time provided to finalize their applications.

The management has confirmed that the FULAFIA Post-UTME online registration and screening portal will now close on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

All interested candidates are advised to complete their registration well ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays.
