UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA (UNN) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA (UNN) has officially released its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Form for candidates seeking admission into the institution.
The management of the University invites all candidates who selected UNN as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above to register for the online screening exercise.
Prospective candidates are advised to carefully read the eligibility requirements and complete their registration within the stipulated period.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise, candidates must:
- Choose University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
- Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
- Ensure that the names on their WAEC/NECO results are exactly the same as those used during JAMB registration.
- Be at least 16 years old on or before 30th September, 2026.
- Upload their O’Level results on both the JAMB CAPS and UNN admission portal on or before the application deadline.
Candidates awaiting the November/December 2026 WAEC GCE or NECO results are not eligible to apply.
SCREENING REGISTRATION PERIOD
The online registration will commence as follows:
- Opening Date: Wednesday, 15th July, 2026
- Closing Date: Wednesday, 5th August, 2026 (Midnight)
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications may not be considered.
APPLICATION FEES
Applicants are required to pay:
- Screening Application Fee: ₦2,000
- Processing Fee: ₦3,300
Payments are to be made through the Remita Platform at any commercial bank or via ATM card.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates should follow the steps below:
- Visit the official UNN website:
https://unn.edu.ng - Click on UNN Portal at the top-right corner of the homepage.
- Select Prospective Students.
- Click Online Application Form for 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate your payment invoice.
- Make payment through Remita at any commercial bank or pay online using your ATM card.
- Return to the portal and log in using your JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete your biodata and other required information.
- Enter your verified O’Level subjects, grades, examination number, and examination centre.
- Upload all required documents.
- Review your application carefully.
- Confirm that all information is correct.
- Submit the application and print your Acknowledgement Slip.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants are expected to upload the following documents (each file should not exceed 100KB):
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Identification Certificate
- School Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Result (First Sitting)
- O’Level Result (Second Sitting, where applicable)
Candidates awaiting O’Level results should list the subjects they registered for during the application process.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Candidates must upload their O’Level results on both JAMB CAPS and the UNN Portal on or before Wednesday, 5th August, 2026.
- Failure to upload O’Level results before the deadline will make a candidate ineligible for admission consideration.
- Candidates should ensure that their date of birth is entered correctly, as changes will not be allowed after submission.
- All information provided during registration must be accurate to avoid disqualification.
DIRECT ENTRY (DE) APPLICANTS
Candidates applying through Direct Entry (DE) who selected UNN as their first-choice institution are also required to register for the online screening exercise.
Additionally, all Direct Entry applicants must ensure that their A’Level results submitted to JAMB have been verified by the Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (NIPEDS) before they can be considered for admission.
