JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATES FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, has announced the resumption dates for fresh and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The announcement was contained in a welcome message from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olasebikan Alade Fakolujo, who warmly welcomed students, staff, parents and other stakeholders to the new academic session.

According to the notice, the resumption schedule is as follows:

Freshers to Resume on September 21

Newly admitted students are expected to resume on Monday, September 21, 2026. Freshers are advised to make the necessary preparations ahead of the resumption date and ensure that they complete all required admission and registration procedures.

Students should also stay updated through the university’s official communication channels for information concerning clearance, accommodation, school fees, orientation and other registration requirements.

Returning Students to Resume on September 26

Returning students are scheduled to resume for the new academic session on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Students are encouraged to prepare adequately for the commencement of academic activities, complete any outstanding registration requirements and report to their respective departments as directed by the university.

Parents’ Forum Scheduled for September 26

The university also announced that the First Semester Parents’ Forum will hold on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

The forum is expected to provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to engage with the university’s management, receive important updates and discuss matters relating to students’ welfare, academic progress and general campus activities.

Vice-Chancellor Welcomes the University Community
