The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, the only Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas in Nigeria established in 2014, is calling for admissions into her ND & HND Petroleum Marketing programs for the 2025/2026 Academic session.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AWARD OF NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND).

The minimum entry requirement into the National Diploma (ND) Programme of Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies is the General Certificate of Education, WASC, NECO & SSCE (or equivalent) with credit in five subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. These five subjects must include English Language and Mathematics with any other three subjects from the following: Economics / Commerce / Marketing; Business method / Business studies; Principles of accounting / Book keeping, Literature in English, Geography, Agricultural Science / Biology, Office practices, Government / History / civic education, Chemistry, Physics, Typewriting and shorthand. Candidate should make FPOGB his\her first choice. (However the student must have a minimum of pass in Economics). Admission into the programme shall normally be through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAMB).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AWARD OF HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND).

The general entry requirements for the HND in Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies programme are:

All the requirements for admission into the ND in Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies programme. Plus. A minimum of lower credit pass (GPA 2.50 and above) in the ND Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies.

Evidence of 1 (one) year industrial training (IT). (Added advantage) Note: In few exceptional cases ND graduates with a pass (CGPA of 2.00- 2.49) in the ND programme that have worked for two or more years in the field may be considered for admission into the HND programme.
