UNIVERSITY OF ILESA (UNILESA) ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL RESUMPTION DATES FOR FRESHERS AND RETURNING STUDENTS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of the University of Ilesa, Ilesa (UNILESA), Osun State, through the Office of the Registrar, has officially issued an internal memorandum to notify all students, staff, and the general public regarding the scheduled resumption dates for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In an official document (Ref. No: UNILESA/RO.27/Vol. II/152) dated 19th October, 2026, signed by the Registrar, ‘Funso Ojo, the institution communicated the approved resumption dates as ratified by the University Senate.

OFFICIAL RESUMPTION DATES

In accordance with the decisions reached by the University Senate, the resumption schedule for all categories of students has been structured as follows:

* Resumption Date for Freshers (Newly Admitted Students): Monday, 9th November, 2026.

* Resumption Date for Returning Students: Monday, 30th November, 2026.

The university administration emphasizes that all students are expected to strictly align their arrival, travel plans, and preparation with these officially stipulated dates. * Newly Admitted Students (Freshers): All fresh students are required to report to campus on Monday, 9th November, 2026, to begin their physical reporting, documentation, and administrative clearance procedures.

* Returning Students: All returning undergraduates across all faculties are scheduled to arrive on campus on Monday, 30th November, 2026, to commence their institutional obligations.

* General Compliance: The management directs all students to be guided strictly by these official directives to prevent administrative delays and ensure a smooth start to the academic session.
