LASU Begins Release of Matriculation Numbers for 2026/2027 Newly Admitted Full-time Students

Lagos State University (LASU) has officially released the 2026/2027 full-time undergraduate students’ matriculation list, with the first batch covering over 7,500 newly admitted students who have completed their LACACA clearance operations to 100%.

The university has directed eligible students to complete the necessary steps to obtain their matriculation numbers and prepare for subsequent registration activities.

According to the university’s announcement, the first set comprises full-time undergraduate students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic session who have successfully completed their LACACA clearance operations.

Eligible students are advised to follow the university’s instructions carefully to obtain their matriculation numbers.

How to Check Your LASU Matriculation Number

Newly admitted students who have completed their LACACA clearance can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official LASU website – CHECK HERE
2. Navigate to the STUDENT tab.
3. Click on CHECK MATRIC NUMBER.
4. Enter your JAMB registration number on the displayed page.
5. Click SUBMIT to view your matriculation number.

Students should ensure that they enter the correct JAMB registration number when checking their details.

LASU Clearance Certificate: What Students Must Do

Eligible students are also instructed to print four copies of their Admissions Clearance Certificate from the LACACA operations portal.

The four copies should be distributed as follows:

• One copy to the Admissions Office.
• One copy to the Faculty Office.
• One copy to the Departmental Office.
• One copy retained for personal records.

Students should ensure that the required copies are printed and submitted to the appropriate offices as directed by the university.

LASU School Fees for 2026/2027
