The Management of Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai has officially announced the dates for its 1st Convocation Ceremony, following the approval of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Taraba State.

According to the management, the historic convocation ceremony is scheduled to hold from Thursday, 30th July to Saturday, 1st August, 2026.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone in the history of the institution as it will celebrate graduates produced by the Polytechnic from 1995 to 2025.

Convocation to Honour Graduates from 1995–2025

The forthcoming convocation ceremony will officially recognize and celebrate all eligible graduates from the institution’s inception in 1995 up to the 2025 academic year.

During the event, graduands, including members of the pioneer sets, will be formally presented with their certificates in recognition of their successful completion of various academic programmes.

The ceremony will also showcase the remarkable achievements and developmental milestones recorded by Taraba State Polytechnic over the years.

Staff and Students Directed to Participate

To ensure the success of the institution’s maiden convocation ceremony, the management has directed all Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and Unit Heads to adequately inform members of staff and students within their respective faculties, departments, and units.

The Polytechnic urged the entire university community to participate actively in the event and contribute towards making the historic occasion a memorable and successful one.

The first convocation ceremony represents an important chapter in the growth and development of Taraba State Polytechnic, providing an opportunity to celebrate its academic achievements, honour distinguished graduates, and strengthen the institution’s relationship with its alumni.
