SOUTHERN DELTA UNIVERSITY, OZORO ANNOUNCES SALE OF FORMS FOR INTER-UNIVERSITY AND INTRA-UNIVERSITY TRANSFERS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Delta State, through the Information and Public Relations Unit of the Vice Chancellor’s Office, has officially issued an Official Bulletin (Vol. 273) announcing the commencement of application forms for Inter-University and Intra-University transfers for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the official bulletin released on Tuesday, 20th October, 2026, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunny Awhefeada, approved the sale of transfer forms across multiple eligible categories.

Eligible Transfer Categories

The university has opened transfer opportunities for four distinct categories of students:

* Inter-University Transfer: Open to students currently enrolled in other recognized universities who wish to transfer their studies to Southern Delta University, Ozoro.

* Inter-Faculty Transfer: Open to current students of Southern Delta University, Ozoro, who desire to transfer from one Faculty to another within the institution.

* Intra-Faculty Transfer: Open to students seeking to transfer between departments within the same Faculty at Southern Delta University, Ozoro.

* Intra-Department Transfer: Open to students who desire to change from one academic programme to another within the same Department.

Method of Application and Processing Steps

Interested applicants are required to follow the official manual processing procedures outlined by the university administration:

* Fee Payment: Applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only, applicable to all categories of transfer. Payment must be made via a Bank Draft obtained from any commercial bank in favour of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.

* Payment Verification: Applicants are required to tender their bank draft at the Bursary Department of the University to obtain an official university receipt.

* Form Collection: Application forms must be collected upon presentation of the Bursary payment receipt at the Admission Office of the University.
