KANO STATE POLYTECHNIC RELEASES FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME ADMISSION FORMS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Kano State Polytechnic has released details for its 2026/2027 Full-Time and Part-Time admission exercise into various programmes across the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences.

The online application exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the available programmes.

ND FULL-TIME ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) Full-Time programmes must have:

• Participated in the 2026 UTME.
• Selected Kano State Polytechnic as their first-choice institution.

Candidates who initially selected another institution but wish to apply to Kano State Polytechnic are advised to visit a designated JAMB-accredited CBT centre to effect a Change of Institution to Kano State Polytechnic as their first choice before proceeding with the application.

REMEDIAL AND BASIC STUDIES PROGRAMMES

Candidates with deficiencies in their O’Level or JAMB examinations may apply for admission into the Polytechnic’s Remedial and Basic Studies programmes.

HND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess:

• A National Diploma (ND) certificate in a relevant discipline.
• At least one year of post-ND work experience.

PART-TIME PROGRAMMES

Candidates seeking admission into the Part-Time ND programmes must possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes.

Applicants seeking admission into Part-Time HND programmes must possess an ND certificate in the relevant course.

Candidates seeking admission into Advanced Diploma programmes must possess an ND or OND certificate.

ND II DIRECT ENTRY PROGRAMMES

Candidates seeking admission into ND II programmes through Direct Entry must possess an OND or ND certificate from a recognised Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution.
