JAMB RELEASES 2026 MOCK UTME RESULTS
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), marking an important step in the build-up to the main examination.
The mock UTME, which was conducted nationwide, gave candidates the opportunity to experience the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment ahead of the main exam. Thousands of candidates who registered for the mock took part in the exercise to test their level of preparedness and familiarize themselves with the examination process.
With the results now available, candidates can check their scores using the mobile phone number they used during registration. This process has been made simple and accessible to ensure that all participants can easily confirm their performance.
To check your mock UTME result, send MOCKRESULT as a text message to 55019 or 66019 using the same SIM card linked to your JAMB profile. After sending the message, your result will be delivered to you via SMS.
It is important to note that the mock UTME is not the main examination and its score does not count towards admission. Instead, it serves as a preparatory tool designed to help candidates understand the structure of the exam, manage their time effectively, and identify areas where they need improvement.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their performance in the mock exam. Those who did not perform as expected should take this as an opportunity to intensify their preparation, while those who performed well are encouraged to remain consistent and focused.
As the 2026 UTME draws closer, candidates should continue studying, practicing past questions, and staying updated with official information from JAMB. Proper preparation and familiarity with the CBT system will go a long way in boosting confidence and overall performance on the exam day.
The release of the mock results signals that the main UTME is fast approaching, and candidates are expected to take their preparation more seriously in the coming weeks.
