Ezeiruaku Ifenyinwa Fidelia, a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) that was dehumanized and severely punished by a female army personnel Lt. Chika Viola Anele, in Calabar has revealed what led to the altercation.

According to Fidelia, the army officer mixed sand with water and poured the mixture on her because they had an argument over ”small chops”.⁣

⁣She further revealed that the officer told her that she was a lowlife and a dirty pig who hadn’t washed her cheap bra for three months, smashed her with a bowl, among other derogatory words.
