This is to inform all students, faculty members, and relevant departments that the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lafia (FULAFIA) has approved the commencement of online examinations for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The online examinations are scheduled to take place from Monday, 15th April 2026, to Thursday, 25th April 2026.

All departments whose courses have been approved for online examination are advised to make the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and efficient conduct of the examinations. Faculty members and course coordinators should liaise closely with their respective Heads of Department to notify students in advance and provide any necessary guidance regarding the online examination platform, protocols, and schedules.

Important Guidelines:

  1. Heads of Departments (HODs) are requested to inform their students promptly about the examination schedules and ensure that all students are aware of the online examination guidelines.

  2. Departments must confirm that all students have access to the necessary online platforms, and any technical issues should be reported immediately to the university’s ICT unit for resolution.

  3. Students are expected to adhere strictly to examination rules and regulations, including login times, duration, and examination protocols, to maintain the integrity of the assessment process.

  4. Any form of academic misconduct during the online examinations will be treated in accordance with the university’s examination and disciplinary policies.

  5. Faculty members and invigilators are to monitor the online examinations diligently and ensure that all assessment procedures are followed appropriately.

All students are encouraged to prepare adequately in advance, ensure reliable internet connectivity, and familiarize themselves with the online examination system to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.

This initiative aligns with FULAFIA’s commitment to leveraging digital technologies to enhance academic delivery, streamline assessment processes, and ensure continuity of learning even in circumstances that may require remote engagement.

For any further assistance or clarification, students and faculty members should contact their departmental coordinators or the university’s ICT support team.

Your cooperation and diligence in ensuring the successful execution of the first semester online examinations are highly appreciated.
