FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LOKOJA (FULOKOJA) RESCHEDULES 10TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The Management of Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, through the Office of the Registrar, has announced the rescheduling of the institution’s 10th Convocation Ceremony.

The university disclosed the change in a circular issued to members of the university community and the general public, explaining that the adjustment was necessary due to circumstances beyond the institution’s control.

According to the management, the initial convocation date coincided with the Kogi State Local Government Elections, making it necessary to move the ceremony to a new date.

NEW DATE FOR THE 10TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The 10th Convocation Ceremony was initially scheduled to take place from Monday, 12th October to Saturday, 17th October 2026.

Following the rescheduling, the ceremony will now hold from:

Monday, 9th November to Saturday, 14th November 2026

The venue remains the university’s Permanent Site, Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State.

REASON FOR THE RESCHEDULING

The university management explained that the change in date became necessary because the initially scheduled convocation activities coincided with the Kogi State Local Government Elections.
