FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, OFFA RELEASES ND OPEN DISTANCE & Flexible e-LEARNING (ODFeL) ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

​The Federal Polytechnic, Offa invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its National Diploma (ND) Open, Distance and Flexible e-Learning (ODFeL) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

​The ODFeL initiative is an NBTE-approved educational model designed to make tertiary learning more accessible, flexible, and inclusive by blending technology with open education paradigms. This mode of learning is specifically structured to accommodate working professionals and individuals who face traditional classroom barriers.

​Eligibility & Entry Requirements

​Candidates must fulfill both the academic requirements and the flexible utility criteria established for this non-traditional learning stream:

​1. Academic Qualifications

​Standard O’Level Track: Possession of an SSC, GCE O’Level, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

​Technical Track: A National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with a credit level pass in a trade, plus four (4) relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics.

​2. Flexible UTME Requirements

​Candidates who did not sit for the UTME are fully eligible to apply.

​Candidates who sat for the UTME but scored below the national cut-off mark are eligible to apply.

​Inter-polytechnic transfer students seeking entry into ODFeL streams are eligible.

​How to Apply 

​Note: The application process for the ODFeL stream is identical to the National Diploma (ND) Part-Time programme.

​JAMB Portal Registration: Visit any official JAMB Office to complete the application procedure for ‘APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION OF PART-TIME PROGRAMMES’ into The Federal Polytechnic, Offa.

​JAMB Fee Payment: Pay the application fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦3,500) to JAMB to secure a JAMB Registration Number.

​Polytechnic Portal Processing: Proceed to the institutional portal at https://www.fedpoffaonline.edu.ng to pay the processing fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) only.

​Form Submission: Click on “Admission” on the portal to fill out and submit the institutional application form. Payments on the portal must be executed using an Interswitch-compatible ATM card.

​Important Guidelines & Screening Procedure

​Credentials Upload: Candidates must upload scanned copies of their results, certificates, and alternative credentials directly to the institutional portal.

​Name Verification: All applicants must write their names in full, positioning their Surname first, precisely as recorded on their certificates and National Identification Number (NIN).

​Security Form Submission: Candidates must fill out the security form on the portal, print the screening slip along with the completed security form, and submit them personally to the Polytechnic Security Office.

​Communication: Every candidate must provide and maintain a personal active email address.

​Warning: Inputting false or incorrect data during the application process results in automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery. Successful candidates will undergo a strict certificate verification exercise.
