The management of the Benue State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Agasha, has announced the phased resumption of academic activities at the institution, following the approval of the Governing Council.

The announcement was contained in a notice dated October 23, 2026, addressed to all staff and students of the College. It was issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by the Acting Registrar, Mtomga Iorwuese.

According to the notice, the Governing Council approved the resumption of academic activities in phases, and the Acting Registrar was directed to inform the entire College community of the arrangements. Under the approved plan, different categories of students will return on different dates before full academic activities begin for everyone.

The details of the phased resumption are as follows:

• 100 Level students: All 100 Level students are to resume on Monday, October 26, 2026, for one week of intensive lectures in preparation for their Indexing Examination.

• Indexing Examination: The Indexing Examination is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 5, and Thursday, November 6, 2026.

• 200 and 300 Level students: All other students in 200 and 300 Levels will resume on Monday, November 3, 2026, and will be allowed only one week for registration.

• Full academic activities: Full academic activities and lectures for the semester will commence on Monday, November 9, 2026, for all categories of students.

The College management also urged all students to resume on time and to ensure that they complete all registration formalities for the session. Students were further advised to prepare for a rigorous academic schedule, which may extend into the new year.

The notice ended with a call for strict compliance from all staff and students, stressing that the phased arrangement is meant to ensure a smooth and orderly return to academic activities.

Students of the College are advised to take note of their respective resumption dates and make early arrangements to return to school. For further enquiries, they can contact the Office of the Registrar through the College’s official email at [email protected] or visit the website at http://www.bschta.edu.ng
