AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, AFAHA NSIT ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Akwa Ibom State University of Education, Afaha Nsit has officially announced the commencement of academic activities for the 2026/2027 First Semester.

According to the approved academic calendar, the 2026/2027 First Semester will officially commence on Friday, 4th September, 2026, while lectures for all students are scheduled to begin on Monday, 14th September, 2026.

In addition, the institution has announced that Teaching Practice Orientation for NCE students will hold on Monday, 7th September, 2026, while the actual Teaching Practice Exercise will commence on Tuesday, 15th September, 2026.

Academic Activities Schedule

• Friday, 4th September, 2026 – First Semester Commences
• Monday, 7th September, 2026 – Teaching Practice Orientation for NCE Students
• Monday, 14th September, 2026 – Lectures Begin for All Students
• Tuesday, 15th September, 2026 – Teaching Practice Begins for NCE Students

The management has advised all students to take note of the approved dates and make adequate preparations to resume academic activities as scheduled.
