The management of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa (AOPE) has announced the postponement of the resumption date for the First Semester of the 2026/2027 academic session.

The decision, according to the institution, is due to technical challenges on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal, which are currently affecting the processing of National Diploma (ND) admissions.

Reason for the Postponement

In an official statement issued by the Polytechnic, the management explained that the delay became necessary because the ongoing technical issues on the JAMB portal have slowed down the admission processing for prospective National Diploma (ND) students.

As a result, both newly admitted and returning students have been advised that the earlier resumption date can no longer be maintained.

New Resumption Date

The Polytechnic stated that a new resumption date will be announced once the admission processing challenges have been resolved.

Students are therefore advised to regularly monitor the institution’s official communication channels for updates regarding the revised academic calendar and resumption schedule.

HND and Post-UTME Applications Still Ongoing

Despite the postponement of resumption, the management announced that the sale of application forms for the following admission exercises remains open:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Forms
  • National Diploma (ND) Post-UTME Screening Forms

Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to complete their applications before the application window closes.

Management Appreciates Students’ Understanding

The Polytechnic expressed appreciation to prospective and returning students for their patience, understanding, and cooperation during the temporary disruption.

The institution assured all stakeholders that every effort is being made to resolve the admission processing challenges as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth commencement of the new academic session.

Candidates and students are advised to disregard unverified information from unofficial sources and rely only on announcements released by the Polytechnic.

Signed

Registrar/Secretary to Council
