This is to inform the Faculty Officers, students and relevant organs of the University that the following guidelines are to be adhered to for the collection and returning of matriculation gowns for the matriculation ceremony for 2020/2021 academic session:

Faculty Officers are required to come for the collection of matriculation gowns on Wednesday 3rd through Friday, 5th November, 2021, between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00pm at the Examinations and Records Unit.

Students are to liaise with their respective Faculty Officers for the collection of matriculation gown.

Students MUST ensure that the matriculation gown is kept in good condition before, during and after the matriculation ceremony.

Loss, damage or withholding of matriculation gown by any student, after the matriculation ceremony, under ANY guise, shall attract appropriate sanction of such student by the Management.

ALL matriculation gowns are to be returned to the Faculty Officers on or before Friday, 12th November, 2021.

ALL Faculty Officers are to return their allotted matriculation gowns to the Examinations and Records Unit not later than Friday, 19th November, 2021 between the hours of 12:00noon and 2:00pm each day.

Clearance certificates obtained from the Faculty Screening Committee MUST be produced before gowns are issued to students.

You are therefore enjoined to STRICTLY follow these guidelines accordingly.

Thank you.
