Focus on Collaboration and Institutional Development
The familiarisation visits also enabled Professor Badejo to hear directly from faculty and school leadership and staff about their operational challenges, priorities and development needs.
The engagements highlighted the importance of sustained dialogue between the university’s management and its constituent units in promoting academic excellence, research, innovation and efficient service delivery.
By encouraging open communication and collaboration, the administration aims to foster a shared sense of purpose among staff and other members of the university community.
Open-Door Policy and Stakeholder Engagement
The visits form part of Professor Badejo’s efforts to deepen stakeholder engagement and establish an inclusive administrative approach at Lagos State University.
The emphasis on an open-door policy is intended to encourage dialogue, strengthen cooperation and ensure that the perspectives of different units contribute to the university’s development agenda.
As the administration advances its strategic priorities, the participation of staff, students and other stakeholders will remain important to achieving the university’s institutional goals.
