Important Information for OAU Aspirants

Candidates should carefully check the cut-off mark applicable to their chosen programme and admission category.

However, meeting the stated cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission. Candidates must still satisfy other requirements and complete the relevant admission processes prescribed by OAU.

Aspirants should also ensure that their JAMB and O’Level details are correctly submitted and should continue to monitor verified OAU announcements for further information concerning the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

Candidates should be cautious about unofficial cut-off marks circulating online and should rely on verified information from the university and other trusted admission information platforms.

The OAU Faculty of Computing Science and Engineering cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 admission exercise show varying requirements across the seven listed programmes.

Computer with Mathematics has the highest Merit cut-off mark at 68.20, closely followed by Software Engineering at 68.08 and Computer Engineering at 67.40. Cybersecurity has a Merit cut-off of 62.03, while Information Systems has the lowest at 52.58.

Prospective OAU students should check the figure applicable to their chosen programme, state and admission category while preparing for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
