GOMBE STATE UNIVERSITY ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE ON O’LEVEL RESULTS UPLOAD FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Gombe State University has directed all prospective candidates who selected the university as their First Choice and have completed both the online and physical screening exercises to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal.

The directive comes as part of the university’s preparations for the 2026/2027 admission exercise and following the release of the 2026 O’Level examination results.

The university stated that the directive applies to concerned candidates with results from recognised examination bodies, including West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), and National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS).

CANDIDATES REQUIRED TO UPLOAD RESULTS

The notice is specifically for prospective candidates who:

• Chose Gombe State University as their First Choice.
• Have completed the university’s online screening exercise.
• Have also completed the physical screening exercise.
• Have their O’Level results available for upload.

Eligible candidates are expected to ensure that their O’Level results are properly uploaded to their JAMB profile/portal.

DEADLINE FOR O’LEVEL RESULT UPLOAD

The university has set Wednesday, September 30, 2026, as the deadline for candidates to complete the upload.

Candidates who are yet to upload their results are therefore advised to complete the process before the deadline.

The university described the notice as urgent and urged all concerned candidates to comply within the stipulated period.

ACCEPTED O’LEVEL RESULTS

Candidates can upload their O’Level results from any of the examination bodies listed by the university:

• WAEC
• NECO
• NABTEB
• NBAIS

Candidates should ensure that the result uploaded corresponds with the details submitted during their admission and screening process.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

The O’Level result upload is an important requirement in the ongoing 2026/2027 admission exercise. Candidates affected by the directive are advised not to wait until the final day before completing the process.

Those who have already obtained their 2026 O’Level results should ensure that the results are uploaded to their JAMB portal on or before September 30, 2026.
