NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, KEFFI (NSUK) RELEASES ADJUSTED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), through the Directorate of Academic Planning, has released the approved adjusted academic calendar for the remainder of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The revised calendar outlines important academic activities, including the continuation of second-semester lectures, Continuous Assessment, examinations, semester breaks, the third-semester programme and other key academic engagements.

The adjustment follows the resumption of academic activities and provides staff and students with updated timelines for the completion of the current academic session.

SEPTEMBER 2026

Monday, September 21, 2026: Continuation of Second Semester lectures following industrial action.

Monday, September 28 – Saturday, October 3, 2026: Conduct and submission of Continuous Assessments for all students.

OCTOBER 2026

Thursday, October 1, 2026: National Day public holiday.

Saturday, October 17, 2026: End of Second Semester lectures and revision period.

Monday, October 19, 2026: Commencement of Second Semester examinations for all students.

NOVEMBER 2026

Saturday, November 14, 2026: Completion of Second Semester examinations.

Monday, November 16, 2026: Commencement of Second Semester break.

Monday, November 16, 2026: Commencement of Third Semester, First Segment.

Sunday, November 29, 2026: Completion of SIWES for the 2025/2026 academic session.

DECEMBER 2026

Saturday, December 12, 2026: End of Third Semester, First Segment.

Saturday, December 12, 2026: Conclusion of marking, computation and consideration of results by the Senate Committee on Results.

Thursday, December 17, 2026: Special Senate meeting for consideration and approval of Second Semester results.

Friday, December 18, 2026: University closes for the end-of-year break.

JANUARY 2027

Monday, January 4, 2027: Resumption of staff and students from the end-of-year break.

Monday, January 4, 2027: Commencement of Third Semester, Second Segment.

Saturday, January 30, 2027: End of Third Semester, Second Segment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STAFF AND STUDENTS

All staff and students of Nasarawa State University, Keffi are advised to take note of the revised dates and align their academic activities accordingly.

The university urged members of the university community to adhere strictly to the approved timelines to support the smooth completion of lectures, Continuous Assessments, examinations, result processing and subsequent academic activities.
