FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, OYE-EKITI (FUOYE) BEGINS UPLOADING OF ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has commenced the uploading of the 2026/2027 admission list on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

This development indicates that the university has begun offering provisional admission to qualified candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 admission exercise. Candidates who selected FUOYE as their first-choice institution are therefore advised to begin checking their admission status regularly on the JAMB CAPS portal.

What Candidates Should Do

Prospective students are encouraged to log in to the JAMB CAPS portal frequently to monitor their admission status, as the uploading process is done in batches and more successful candidates may be admitted in subsequent uploads.

Once admission is offered, candidates should promptly:

• Accept or reject the admission offer on JAMB CAPS.
• Print their JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the offer.
• Follow every admission guideline issued by the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti for clearance and registration.

How to Check FUOYE Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/and log in with your registered email address and password.
2. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
3. Select the appropriate examination year and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Click “Access My CAPS.”
5. Navigate to “Admission Status” to view your admission details.
6. If admitted, click “Accept” to confirm your admission or “Reject” if you wish to decline the offer.

Admission Upload Is Ongoing

Candidates whose admission status still shows “Not Admitted” are advised not to panic, as the admission exercise is still in progress. FUOYE is expected to continue uploading the names of successful candidates in batches until the admission process is concluded.
