Ondo State Government Pays N160M Osopadec Bursary -A Thank You Message To The Governor

His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has once again proven to be a man of his words and of high integrity as he made good his promise to fully pay the outstanding Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission( OSOPADEC) Students’ bursary which was disbursed on Thursday, 18th June 2020 into the commission’s account.

With immense appreciation, we want to sincerely thank His Excellency, and the Accountant General of the state not just for the swift fulfillment of the promise made barely 2 weeks ago but also for prioritizing the interest of youths and students in this state as this goes a long way to prove, that when the right person rules the people rejoice.

There is no doubt that the payment of OSOPADEC bursary to indigent students from the oil producing areas of the state will not only serve as an avenue to alleviate their circumstances, but also serves as an encouragement to other students especially those with proven academic abilities in the area of getting support from the Government in form of scholarships to enable them achieve their desired educational heights without putting so much pressure on the finances of their parents and guardians.

All students and Student Leaders in the state are therefore encouraged to continue towing the path of peaceful dialogue with the government whenever the need arises as it is evident that Ondo State is blessed with a listening and visionary Leader; Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) who is well read and values the importance of education in the development of youths.
