The management of Kogi State University, Kabba, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission screening exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes.

The university, which was established in 2023 by the Kogi State Government to provide quality higher education, invites candidates who selected Kogi State University, Kabba as their first-choice institution, or have successfully changed to the institution through JAMB, to apply for the admission screening exercise.

Applicants must have scored at least 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for consideration.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the admission screening, candidates must:

• Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
• Have selected Kogi State University, Kabba as their first-choice institution, or change to the university through the JAMB portal before admission processing.
• Meet the O’Level and subject combination requirements for their chosen programme.

The university noted that candidates whose UTME scores do not qualify them for their preferred programme may be considered for admission into a related programme for which they meet the requirements.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates are required to:

1. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦2,000 only.
