The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has officially released the 2026/2027 admission list for candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise.

Candidates who applied for admission into the university can now proceed to check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The released admission list contains the names of candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university has uploaded the admission list on the JAMB CAPS portal, where candidates can monitor their admission status and take the necessary steps if admitted.

Candidates are advised to begin checking their admission status immediately, as admissions may continue to be released in batches.

How to Check UNIZIK Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Follow the steps below to check your admission status:

Log in using your registered email address and password.

Step 3

Click on “Check Admission Status.”

Step 4

Select “Access My CAPS.”

Step 5

Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission details.

If you have been offered admission, your status will be displayed on the portal.

Accept or Reject Admission Offer

Candidates who have been offered admission should immediately take action by selecting one of the following options:

• ACCEPT – to accept the admission offer.
• REJECT – if they do not wish to accept the admission.

Accepting your admission on JAMB CAPS is compulsory and serves as confirmation of your admission into the university.

What If Your Admission Status Shows “Not Admitted”?

Candidates whose status currently displays:

• Admission Still in Progress, or
• Not Admitted

should not panic.

The admission process is still ongoing, and additional batches may be released in the coming days or weeks. Candidates are advised to continue checking their JAMB CAPS regularly for updates.
