LASU Students Can Now Borrow Books From The Library

The University Management has observed with displeasure that students have a poor attitude to the use of Library, especially with regards to the borrowing of library materials.
At the Breakfast Meeting of the University Management Team with the Students’ leaders , held recently, issues bothering on poor usage of Library by students were discussed and it was noted that :
(1) Students were not forthcoming to loan books from the Library;
(2) Students were not putting to use the opportunity to borrow books as provided for , by the University Management;
(3) The University Librarian had indicated the Library’s readiness to give out two(2) books on loan to students per week, and failure to refund the books within the stipulated time would attract sanction(s) , as appropriate.
Against the background, students of the University are hereby advised to cultivate the consistent use of the University Library as well as the practice of book-borrowing from the Library, more so as the University Library has expressed interest in loaning out books to interested students.
