President Buhari Praises a Nigerian Ph.D Student who Found and Returned a Missing Wallet Filled with Money

A Nigerian Ph.D student at the university of Tsukuba, Japan has been praised by President Muhammadu Buhari after returning a missing wallet he found filled with money and a credit card.

According to the man identified as Ikenna Nweke, he found the wallet on the floor of a shop he went to get kehab for his wife. After seeing the content of the wallet, he decided to take it to the police station so as the owner could be contacted. The police officer that attended to him told him he was entitle to 10 percent of the money found and that if the owner of the money does not come to pick the money after three months, the whole money would be his. He rejected both offers, insisting that it was against his religion as a Christian and his nationality as a Nigerian.

His actions have won him world wide praise and admiration.
