The university’s official website currently provides admission and payment information for newly admitted candidates.

Candidates can check their admission status online by following the steps below:
- Visit the UNIMED Post-UTME portal:UNIMED Post-UTME Admission Portal
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided.
- Click on “Check”.
- Proceed to view your admission status.
Candidates are advised to carefully check the information displayed on the portal and follow the instructions provided if they have been offered admission.
ACCEPTANCE OF UNIMED ADMISSION ON JAMB CAPS
Candidates who have been offered admission are also required to check their admission status on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Successful candidates should proceed to accept their admission offer on JAMB CAPS.
UNIMED’s admission procedure also requires newly admitted candidates to complete relevant admission formalities on the JAMB portal, including accepting the offer, uploading their O’Level result and ensuring that the institution and programme information are properly reflected.
ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT
Admitted candidates are advised to pay their acceptance fee within the stipulated period stated on their provisional admission offer.
UNIMED’s registration procedure specifies that candidates who accept a provisional admission offer are required to pay the acceptance fee within 48 hours, as stated on the provisional admission offer slip.
The university subsequently issued an official notice on September 9, 2026, granting first-batch students who had not yet paid their acceptance fee a 24-hour final extension to complete the payment, warning that failure to do so could result in forfeiture of admission.
Candidates should therefore check their individual admission/payment instructions carefully and act within the deadline applicable to their offer.
SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT
UNIMED has also informed newly admitted candidates that payment of school fees follows payment of the acceptance fee.
According to the university’s September 4, 2026 notice, candidates are required to pay their school fees within seven working days after paying the acceptance fee. Failure to meet the stipulated deadline may result in forfeiture of the admission offer.
Candidates are therefore advised not to delay the payment process after accepting their admission.
UPLOAD O’LEVEL RESULT ON JAMB PORTAL
Candidates who have not yet uploaded their O’Level/SSCE results on the JAMB portal are advised to do so as soon as possible.
UNIMED’s admission procedure requires candidates to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS. The university specifies that the relevant five O’Level credits include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, subject to the requirements of the programme.
Candidates should use a JAMB-accredited centre for the upload where necessary.
OTHER ADMISSION FORMALITIES
After accepting the admission and completing the required payment, newly admitted candidates are expected to complete other admission formalities on the UNIMED portal.
These include creating a student account, providing the required personal information and uploading the necessary documents.
Candidates are also required to complete the relevant screening/document-upload process through the UNIMED Post-UTME portal. The university warns that falsified information can lead to automatic disqualification of admission.
